Hi! I am renting my awesome furnished loft for sublet in the LES, (corner of Division and Eldridge) Manhattan. The loft is around 850 square feet. I have an additional memory foam double bed and single blow up mattress I can set up too, if you need a home for up to 5 people. After 2nd person, each additional person is $35 per night. You can rent for just one night only or for multiple nights. This is your own apartment, I repeat, your OWN apartment. :) Tons of galleries, bars, clubs, record shops, restaurants, parks, shopping all around. The neighborhood is truly alive. Coolest area in all of Manhattan for sure. Shiny hardwood floors, completely gut renovated, recessed lighting, lots of light, bathroom with tub, super artistically decorated, great views out of the windows, very quiet as all windows are double paned, fire escape access on west and east sides that you can sit on, roof access as well....just a great pad! Extremely central location, 1/2 block from CitiBike port and 2 blocks from F,D, and B lines. Bus line one block away. A 10 minute walk to Soho, 10 minute walk to the east village, 5 minute walk to little Italy, 1 minute walk to the heart of Lower East Side, and 15 minute walk to the Financial District. There is a $200 cleaning fee per stay. I am a Superhost and have hundreds of 5 star reviews over the past 9 years. :) If you need a place clean and private (and very beautiful) while also being in the middle of the exciting action, this is just the spot. If you want a video tour of the place, lemme know and I can send that along. Let me know if you'd like to take a look! Anytime a friend sees this place, they are like, "Whooooaaahhhh..." -Moksha

Room in Shared Apartment

Private room for rent 147th St & Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY 11354, United States Hi there! I’m subletting my room from June 30th to August 17th in our queer safe home. The room is very large, has its own private bathroom, has a walk in closet, and sits inside a queer‑safe, cooperative home that’s genuinely a joy to live in. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for real cooking — plenty of fridge and cabinet space included. Free spices, coffee, and tea This isn’t just a room. It’s a safe, clean, beautiful home with kind, grounded roommates. You don’t need to be queer, but you do need to be comfortable living with queer folks. The room is $2,000 total for the full 7 weeks (no more prorating). Dates should be close to the listed range; you can crash on the couch a day or two before/after if needed. The room has AC. Utilities for the whole stay should be close to $200 (electric, gas, WiFi). And the deposit is 800$. We have a great landlord and a well‑kept building in a safe neighborhood. Flushing is a foodie paradise with everything you need within walking distance — groceries, doctors, movie theaters, you name it. We’re also a 3‑minute walk from the Murray Hill LIRR station. We would need you to do a little cleaning- but splt 3 ways it's only doing the kitchen and floors once and garbage duty for 2 weeks. Your roommates would be: a 26‑year‑old trans man (he/they) — drag performer, artist, lifeguard, creative powerhouse a 35‑year‑old lifelong New Yorker; cis man, and avid gamer working in mental health administration If you’re interested, please DM me with the following (below). Not sure I can check this post- I need a direct message) -a little info about you -your exact dates- both in and out dates -why you’re looking for a summer sublet in NYC -confirmation that you can cover the rent plus deposit upfront (deposit is negotiable/TBD) Looking forward to hearing from you.

Room in Shared Apartment

We’re Nick, 42, a classical musician and teacher, and James, 42, an artist, filmmaker, and teacher. We’re a peaceful, friendly, creative household in Prospect Park South looking for a third roommate to join us. Our previous roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, and we’d love to find someone to take her place. The room is large, 11.5 x 19.5 feet, almost studio-sized, and sunny, with two windows, fire escape access, and use of a walk-in hallway closet, plus additional shared closet space. Bed and dresser are included. The apartment is a 3-bedroom in a great location: 2 blocks from Prospect Park, 2 blocks from the Q/R, and within walking distance of the F/Q and 2/3. Grocery stores, coffee shops, gyms, restaurants, indie spots, and community spaces are all nearby. The Prospect Park lake is just a 10-minute walk from our place. Rent is $1,153/month plus utilities, typically around $80/month. First and last month’s rent up front. We’re open to short- or long-term. July 1st move-in. The vibe is quiet, friendly, and creative. James is often at his art studio or teaching, and I’m out most evenings teaching as well. I practice cello/piano in my room during reasonable hours, and it's worked out well with past/current roommates. We sometimes have friends over and enjoy relaxed social time. We’re looking for someone warm, friendly, reliable, and considerate, ideally with some creative or artistic interests. Mostly, we’d love to find someone with a stable lifestyle who wants to be part of a nice shared home. I’ve lived here for 6 years, and James has been here for the past 3–4. Outside of work, I enjoy artistic events, reading, tango, meditation, and vegan cooking. James is into biking, art films, and experimental/electronic music. If interested, please tell us a bit about yourself, what you’re looking for, when you'd like to move, and anything else you'd like to share. Thanks!

**Room in Weeksville Duplex | $1,350/mo | Available ASAP** Hey — looking for someone to share my place on Sterling Place in Weeksville. It's a 2BR/1.5BA duplex in a small, quiet 4-unit building. The apartment has high ceilings, hardwood floors, big rooms, and gets a lot of sunlight. New kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a dishwasher. We'd each have our own bedroom upstairs and share the bathroom for daily use. I use the basement as my personal space, so upstairs you'd basically have the living room to yourself — I do use the kitchen but honestly don't cook much, so it's rarely an issue. Laundry is coin-op in the basement, shared with the building (just 2 other units, so it's never a mess). You can access the laundry through the basement or from the shared exterior stairs outside the unit. Looking for someone chill who keeps to themselves mostly but isn't antisocial. 420-friendly household, no issues there. LGBTQ+ folks especially welcome. **The basics:** - $1,350/mo - Sublease required - No pets please - Must have steady income - I keep an early schedule — up early, in bed early. Evenings need to stay calm. No loud TV, no guests getting rowdy at night. Daytime is totally yours. Location is solid — close to the 3/4/5 and the A/C, walkable to restaurants, cafes, and groceries all around. Send me a message with a little about yourself, what you do, and when you're looking to move. Serious inquiries only.

Finding a short-term NYC apartment is broken. We're fixing it.

Broker fees on a two-month sublet make no sense. Craigslist is a mess. Facebook groups are full of scams. If you've tried to find a furnished, short-term apartment in New York City, you already know this.

SubletNY is a free weekly newsletter. Every Monday morning we send you the best available sublets in NYC — furnished, no broker fee. Whether you need a place for two weeks or six months, we'll find it for you.

Who it's for

  • People relocating to NYC for work on a short-term assignment
  • Students needing housing for a semester or summer internship
  • Travel nurses, consultants, and anyone between leases
  • Anyone who needs a NYC apartment for days, weeks, or a few months

“We built SubletNY after spending three weeks trying to find a furnished apartment for a friend moving here for a consulting project. The existing options were genuinely terrible. This is our attempt to fix that — one Monday newsletter at a time.”
