Dates are flexible, open to shorter and longer stays; just drop me a line! $111 per day with a flat $222 setup/reset fee. Sleeps three if you have a couple in the bed and a friend on the couch. I love this apartment, and feel lucky to be here. It's a studio with 12 foot ceilings, eight foot high windows, and great vibes. It's one big room with a four post bed curtained off in the center, with closet and bathroom in the back. There's enough seating in the lounge space and dining area to host four people comfortably, and there's a small astruturfed outdoor space with a hammock and ashtray for the smokers. Standing desk with big monitor and usb keyboard/magic mouse/dongles available for the work from homies. Full kitchen with a Breville espresso machine, edible plants for your amusement in the hydroponic garden, dishwasher, rice cooker, microwave, pots and pans, and other niceties. Please enjoy my record and book collections, my trinkets and rubber chickens, my New Yorker and Harpers subscriptions while I'm out. Building is new construction, this unit is separated from the rest of the building and is super private, with no residential neighbors and a separate entrance from the rest of the building on the ground floor. This means you can play music on my stereo as loud as you want at any hour (!!!). Laundry, decent little gym, package room, and rooftop with a great view are all available to you as part of the building's amenities. The best surrounding 3 blocks you could ask for, lots of diversity and people around, and seemingly unlimited options for nightclubs, bars, art galleries, yoga studios, thrift stores, cheap or fancy grocery stores, and other hip delights with a 24 hour grocery store and a beautiful park (Maria Hernandez) right next door. A pleasant 8 minute walk to the L train at Jefferson or the M at Knickerbocker, with bikeshare stations and bike lanes very nearby. Superintendent and a trusted housekeeper are available for help with the apartment as needed. About This Lister I'm the tenant here, he/they pronouns. Fun guy, Burning Man attendee, newly unemployed software engineer looking to travel a bit this summer. Lister's Relationship to the Space I am the current tenant Rental requirements I do require a security deposit equal to half the rent for your planned stay, which covers breakages of . I can refer you to happy renters who have gotten their security deposit back in full. Pets Policy Please let me know if you want to bring a pet, we can discuss on a case by case basis.

Room in Shared Apartment

Hi! We're a house of 5 — 2 men, 3 women, one very chill cat, and one very sweet old dog — living in a gorgeous 5BR/3.5BA home on one of Greenpoint's prettiest blocks. 📍 The Location 1030 Lorimer St, Brooklyn, NY 11222 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfBdJDt9ZPc2ffuIjKwShzW2ClZ5smQskzKN64CYG7NjGvB7Q/viewform Steps to the G train and McCarren Park. A 15-minute walk to the Bedford L or the Ferry. 8 minutes to VITAL. You're well-connected without the noise. 🏡 The House This place is special. Beautifully renovated inside and out, it stands out even on an already-idyllic leafy block. Here's what you're getting: ~ Enormous recreation/dining/living room — the kind of space that makes people say "wait, you live here?" ~ Large private backyard ~ Chef's kitchen with two fridges/freezers ~ Washer/dryer, central air, dishwasher, soundproof windows ~ A Breville espresso machine, grill, ice cream maker, juicer, and sous vide 🛏️ The Room Lower Level Bedroom: Available for August and long-term lease The available room is on the lower level with an en-suite bath — and it is massive. Honestly studio-sized, and the largest bedroom in the house. One of only two rooms with a private bathroom. The room will come partially furnished, but if you end up living here for the next year, you're welcome to bring in your own furniture. A couple of honest notes: the room doesn't have windows, and has a curtained entrance rather than a door. But, the space can be a home gym, king bed with room to spare, dedicated WFH setup, guest space, indoor sauna situation all at once. Our current tenant has happily lived here for two years (with his dog!). Rent: $3400/month + utilities 🌿 Who We Are & What We're About This is a peaceful home first, a shared space second, and a little community always. We love the occasional dinner party, potluck, Sunday brunch, wine tasting, workshop, or living room concert — and we love when everyone participates, not just attends. The values that hold this house together: ~ Emotional attunement and genuine self-awareness ~ Giving > receiving energy ~ Personal growth, and cheering others on in theirs ~ Community-minded living — pitching in, showing up, keeping the space beautiful ~ Curiosity, creativity, wellness, and connection If that resonates — if you want a home that's actually a home — we'd love to hear from you.

Finding a short-term NYC apartment is broken. We're fixing it.

Broker fees on a two-month sublet make no sense. Craigslist is a mess. Facebook groups are full of scams. If you've tried to find a furnished, short-term apartment in New York City, you already know this.

SubletNY is a free weekly newsletter. Every Monday morning we send you the best available sublets in NYC — furnished, no broker fee. Whether you need a place for two weeks or six months, we'll find it for you.

Who it's for

  • People relocating to NYC for work on a short-term assignment
  • Students needing housing for a semester or summer internship
  • Travel nurses, consultants, and anyone between leases
  • Anyone who needs a NYC apartment for days, weeks, or a few months

“We built SubletNY after spending three weeks trying to find a furnished apartment for a friend moving here for a consulting project. The existing options were genuinely terrible. This is our attempt to fix that — one Monday newsletter at a time.”
